Jo Bjordal assumes position as Chief Marketing Officer at ZALORA. He will ensure that ZALORA adapts to the new circumstances of supply and demand in Southeast Asia and continues to support and excite our customers.
He will also maintain the sustained high growth in sales and active customers across markets, as well as further strengthen ZALORA's value proposition and brand equity in Southeast Asia.
Jo joined ZALORA in 2014, and was the Marketing and Commercial Director of ZALORA Indonesia before moving to Malaysia in 2019, assuming the role of Director of Growth for the Group.
Prior to joining ZALORA, Jo was Management Consultant, Strategy & Operations at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC Norway) where he advised clients on large strategic transformation projects within retail, logistics & FMCG. He also developed a series of production simulation and activity based costing models to improve client profitability and productivity.
Jo holds a Bachelor's degree, Business administration and Economics from Norwegian School of Economics, a Master's Degree, Business analysis and performance management from Norwegian School of Economics and a Master's degree, Sustainable Development from HEC Paris School of Management.
Why I am judging the awards this year... In an age of “short attention span” where advertising becomes almost incidental, capturing consumer eyeballs and interest is now harder for marketers.
